Jim McAlpine is Ecumen’s senior vice president, legal affairs and corporate general counsel. He joined Ecumen after 18 years as an attorney, shareholder and member of board of directors at Quinlivan & Hughes, P.A. He specialized in legal counsel for health care, skilled nursing and assisted living providers, as well as general insurance defense and civil litigation. He has served as Minnesota Defense Lawyer’s Association Long Term Care Committee Chair, and is a Health Law Committee Member.
He is a graduate of Minnesota State, Mankato, and William Mitchell College of Law.
